Hello from Esther Studio!

I’m Carly, a marketing professor living just outside Chicago. Esther Studio is a creative project that I started in 2023 as a way to formally express my artistic streak. I make and sell bold, sincere, down-to-earth art, including beaded jewelry for everyday statements. With the new Esther Studio newsletter, my goal is to share my perspective on personal style, as seen through my life as a professor and artist. This conversation naturally includes jewelry, but I’ll be covering anything that counts as adornment.

What you can expect (subject to changes in mood, season, lighting, etc.)

• Regular “outfit roundups,” where I share photos of and musings about my work and casual outfits

• Visual meditations on style themes (i.e., colors, vibes, aesthetics)

• Academic writing or research (I do enough of this in my day job)
